DIN 42567 MOISTURE HOLDERS/ DEHYDRATING BREATHER
It is a product mounted on the expansion tank of transformers with expansion tanks. It is filled with silica gel to prevent direct contact between the oil and the atmosphere, blocking moisture and dust from penetrating the oil. It is available in different connection types depending on operating conditions.
DIN 42562 MOISTURE HOLDER/ DEHYDRATING BREATHER
The moisture holders primarily consist of an upper part (B1) and an oil trap (OV). Additional intermediate parts (B2) can be incorporated as needed. The oil trap filters dirt particles from the air before it passes through silica gel-filled modules, effectively removing moisture and preventing its contact with the transformer oil.
